The New York Dolls played “Dance Like a Monkey” on Conan thursday night. See photos of the performance here. They band played good, Johanson seemed kind of ho hum to me. Syl Sylvain played and looked great playing guitar. They will also be playing on Henry Rollins show tonight on IFC channel.

The New York Dolls will be the featured musical guests on NBC-TV’s “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” tonight (Thursday, July 20). The band will perform their new single, “Dance like a Monkey”, off their upcoming CD, “One Day It Will Please Us To Remember Even This”. In addition, NEW YORK DOLLS will appear on “The Henry Rollins Show” on the Independent Film Channel (IFC) premiering on Saturday, July 22 at 10:00 p.m. EST. An encore presentation of the program is scheduled for Thursday, July 27 at 11:00 p.m.
