Check out this band from Holland “One Bullet Left“, whose members have an average age of 14. These guys play metal better than most seasoned vets. Very cool stuff. Listen to a track here. METAL!!!!

EMI will be the first record company to offer DRM free downloads and they will be offered by Apple. The downloads will be priced a little higher at $1.29 but will be higher quality and playable on any device rather than on Apple devices only. This should put the pressure on other record labels to do the same type of thing. Read it all here.
Being Anti-MySpace to begin with I was a bit disappointed to begin with but once I read his very cool writings about his bands I changed my mind at least about his space. Very cool indeed. His son has a kick ass band called the “Holy Ghost Children” that sound real good. More on them later.
According to Punknews.org “Patti Smith is currently working on a covers album to be released in the spring. While a track listing has yet to be announced it will features songs originally performed by Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, Nirvana, Neil Young, Jefferson Airplane and some unannounced surprises. The project will feature appearances by Television‘s Tom Verlaine and the Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea among others.”
Oh yeh, and she has also been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Shame.
