Three great songs by The Hunns. Listen to one of my favorite songs “Wild Card” on The Hunns website.

Plus you can listen to LA Doom and Skate Away

If you don’t know about Duane Peters yet then go do so now…this guy is fuckin awesome.
I think he married our favorite bassist Corey Parks. Resource: die Hunns.

Faith Healers…Pure Rock Fury

Cannabis intoxication will not cause permanent brain damage.

April 26, 2003

Pure Rock Fury ..at its finest circa ’89. The Faith Healers shaped my musical outlook and changed the way I heard and saw music forever.

Originally posted as comment to above link on April 17 by “YrFuneralMyTrial” read as follows:…

Jeff, thanks for the kind words. Those were some of the best times of my life. In a way, it’s odd to work in an enviroment of bands, music etc… and yet almost no one here is aware of my musical past. Time moves on. As you mentioned, I co-own two clubs where I book/promote all the shows at.
After about 15 years of playing music…I sorta walked away from it a bit. I still play but I currently have no band or play live. Maybe sometime. Those were great days…playing with The Butthole Surfers, Flaming Lips etc…and traveling the country living out of an old van!

FYI, after Faith Healers / Dali Automatic, I did some more personal type music…darker, sadder songs in Honey Died. Think Nick Cave, Tindersticks, Serge Gainsbourg. The last thing I did was The Delta Spacemen…kind of a return to space/rock w/ a bit of 70’s era Bowie / TRex influence. Dave Garrett went on to form The Tares (who did quite well before disbanding). They were a country influenced pop/rock band. Imagine Badfinger gone country. After that, he was a member of The Charlie Mars Band. Dave’s currently living in Austin, TX and just visited my house today! Brian Petty briefly had Star Sutra and I’m not sure of his current whereabouts. Paul Boatright lived in Los Angeles for many years after his very popular funk band Punkinhead broke up. He’s just recently moved back to Fayetteville. I just saw him tonight too! Sean Reagan never played live again but still lives in Fayetteville.

Well, again thanks for the kind words. As I promised, I’ll gather up a big package of stuff (although it sounds like you have stuff that even I don’t!) and send it to ya. Looking back, a lot of it was just “growing up in public” recorded to tape and not very good…but occasionally we did something worthwhile! Actually, reading your post has caused me to reflect and it’s kind of inspiring. Thanks, Wade

White Trash by the Unsatisfied

Listen to White Trash by The Unsatisfied.

(*note from Miss Chicky – 8/17/17 updated the “listen” link to White Trash. LEVEL #@) This is the album version and below is Jeff’s favorite Evil Jim version…)

The Unsatisfied “White Trash” Evil Jim mix. A BMF favorite.

SEE and HEAR more of the Unsatisfied.)

The Unsatisfied is a band we first saw opening for TheEvils at 9 Lives Saloon a while back. Jet told me before the show that I would really like the band opening up for them and the lead singer was a “crazymotherfucker!”. We were about to find out just how crazy. The band started playing and up walks(on crutches)this lanky dude. He was all over the stage, hoppin’ all around on one leg, and belting out some of the best vocals I had heard in a long time. To top all that off this guy had a stage presence that demanded your complete attention. Talent was the first word that came to mind at the time. The band literally chugged out the music song after song. Afterwards we got to meet the lead singer extraordinaire and the rest of the band. Eric is a super nice guy and from our first conversation it was clear to me this guy was on another level. We will not miss show one these guys are playing in the future. If you miss seeing them live you’ll be missing a great show and great band that has got nothing but great things ahead of them. Enough….now go listen to White Trash. I think I like the rougher Evil Jim remix of “White Trash” as well. Level: 9
