MC-I restored this 2008 podcast from the MusicFilter.com web archive. I love hearing Jeff’s voice. He sounded so happy. I’m sure he was happy to discover his own podcasting. He mesmerized me for a long time with his music history storytelling. I always told Jeff his looks reminded me of John Cougar and Russell Crowe, all with the rough good looks and crazy eyebrows.

This excellent 45 was purchased by MC on ebay a while back. The 45 is in perfect virgin condition (played tonight for possibly the first time). It was a series put out by RCA Victor showcasing their artists with a host from their roster. This record has three tracks per side. Elvis EmCee’s between each track introducing it in a voice unique to the King of Rock and Roll.
This side (side 1) includes :

Tony Cabot – Anchors Aweigh
Tito Puente – That’s a Puente
