Lydon reforming the Pistols?

There is a rumor or a “news story” on contactmusic.com that after battling a ton of pop-up’s I decided is all bullshit. The guy who runs “God Save the Sex Pistols” asked Steve Jones about it and he replied “Bollocks!”

“My Moral Code isn’t that strict” was a post I made about this Sun Online interview with questions from readers one of which was whether he (John) would play a tour with the Pistols again. Lydon’s answer was as follows:

Come on – we’ve done that. We enjoyed the reunion tour, because at last we actually got paid for something! But we’ve done it now. When we played Crystal Palace in 2002 that was our fond farewell to Britain.

I could see a day when we played live together again – but only if it was in Japan and for plenty of filthy yen! My moral code isn’t that strict. I’ve never done anything for the money, but I f***ing like the money!

US Bombs – We are the problem

Duane Peters must of changed his mind to who was gonna release the US Bombs next album. A while ago if you went to Disaster’s website, they had a link to “Thorp” records and now there is a link to “Sailor’s Grave” records even though their site is not officially up and running yet. Wonder whats goin’ on?

Follow up: 2/17/06. Duh….Sailor’s Grave is an offshoot of Thorp.
