Ozzy

I felt pretty sure Ozzy would not last long after his final show a few weeks ago. It felt like the most glorious funeral since Elvis’ died. Ozzy and his music were a mainstay for us all through time. We went to a few Ozzfests and enjoyed watching Ozzy in his reality show. His music appeared on a lot of playlists over the years. But my best memory was leaving a wrestling match in Kansas and BMF flying down one of those flat straight highways they have in Kansas at 120 MPH. He cranked up Sabbath’s “War Pigs” and “Iron Man” and Ozzy’s voice screamed down that lonely highway. All windows down, a little bit drunk and laughing and kissing the whole way back. I’ll never forget this moment in time. We should have died but we didn’t.

Here’s a replay of just one of BMF’s many Ozzy posts on MusicFilter. Love to Ozzy’s family. I’m glad he’s lost his pain.

Kansas City Chiefs!

BMF from Kansas: 2016

Once again the Chiefs “almost” did it.  Lost in overtime to the Patriots. Patriots and Rams in Atlanta two weeks from today in the Super Bowl with Maroon 5. Ha ha ha ha ha.

Do You Love Me? Really Love Me? Sign of 57 strikes today!

It’s what shows up in the last minute that matters. I feel you today. I guess I’m feeling low and you know. Missing my BMF! Yes I love you! Thank you for sending this to me today baby! Originally posted in July 2001 by BMF for MC when they were far far apart. Not sure how it survived the internet hole, but came across it in some net archives today. Made me smile so big.
